Florida International University’s graphic identity is an important element in the branding and marketing of the University.   All University communications must bear the institutional logo unless the content and production is related to the Athletics Division - in which case the communication would bear the Athletic Logo.

The University seal is primarily for use on official printed documents, such as diplomas and legal documents.  Use on printed internal academic related communication is also permitted. (Including: commencement programs, faculty awards, convocation)  However, the seal should be used as a graphic element and the FIU logo must always be present. It may not be used on any electronic communication.
